HOW DO I KEEP MY NUBIKK SHOES CLEAN?
Once you've bought new shoes, you'll want to wear them right away. Before you put them on, however, it's crucial to spray them thoroughly with a dirt- and moisture-repellent spray. You can buy these sprays at any shoe store or your local supermarket. It's best to treat your shoes with a spray every month to keep them looking their best for as long as possible. This way, you can walk (a little) more safely in the rain!

HOW DO I GET MY NUBIKK SHOES CLEAN AGAIN?
But then you go to a festival and it rains all day... The entire festival grounds are muddy, and even though you try to keep your shoes somewhat clean, by the end of the day they're soaking wet and brown with mud. Don't throw them away, even if it seems like you'll never get them clean again.
Let's start with the laces: remove them from your shoe and soak them in a bowl of water with a little bleach. After an hour, you can take the laces out and clean them with some soap and water. They're guaranteed to be white again! If you don't feel like doing that, you can always buy a new pair for a few euros.
Most Nubikk sneakers are made of leather (Nubuck, hence the name Nubikk), and leather shoes absolutely shouldn't get too wet! Don't throw them in the washing machine, as it won't make your shoes look any better. Remove the biggest stains with a damp cloth. Stubborn stains can be removed by applying a little toothpaste, rubbing it in, and then wiping it off with a damp cloth. We bet your shoes will be a lot whiter!
